Star Power Spotlight: Liz Rock

When Liz Rock laces up her sneakers, it’s never just about the miles—it’s about building community, creating space, and empowering women and girls.

A familiar face in the Boston running scene, Liz is a true community builder. She brings her energy and leadership to many spaces: first as a GOTR coach in Randolph, and now as an Associate Board Member, and as co-founder of TrailblazHers Run Co., an all-female run crew that creates belonging for women—especially BIPOC women—through weekly runs and signature events like The Bra Run and Take Back the Night. By day, Liz is also a Senior Marketing Manager at PUMA, where she specializes in running and training.

Liz brings this same passion to Girls on the Run Greater Boston. She’s connected her networks with GOTR through fundraising and by creating social media content for our signature events. Recently, she celebrated a milestone birthday in a big way—hosting a Birthday WOD (CrossFit class) for friends and family that combined her love of fitness, community, and GOTR. That celebration raised more than $2,000 in scholarships for local participants.

"Girls on the Run allows me to bring together my love for running and my passion for creating safe, empowering spaces for women and girls. It's more than miles, it's about building confidence, community, and joy," Liz shared.

We’re deeply grateful for Liz’s thoughtful and meaningful contributions to our community—and we can’t wait to see the impact she continues to make.
